I know it's at the bottom of everyone's priority list, but could you comment on gas mileage (highway cruise and NORMAL city driving)? I remember some saying they saw an increase with the pre-autotune version and was just curious to see how it's affected with autotune.

My foot being heavy and all, I don't worry much about that. On a highway trip the other day, I did switch to see and was doing anywhere from 20-32MPG..

I hardly even reset my parameters to see, overall my car shows an average of nearly 18MPG for all my driving.

It doesnt appear to be any worse or any better then any other tune.

All highway trip I was getting 25+

Normal cruising and WOT I see 21-22.

It should be similar to slightly better than the 5-15maps. You wont see this on the instantaneous/average mpg readings since those are influenced by fuel pressure adjustments. But you will see this when you fill up your car and notice how many miles your talk got you. This is because we target a 0.5 leaner AFR at cruise than before. Not to mention that autotuning also ensures that you are running good timing values which makes sure that fuel isn't wasted.

This was a great review. I'm trying to decide right now between the JB3 and the PROcede. One of my main concerns is having something that is completely invisible so as not to have any problems with warranty. I've been able to find a lot of information on clearing everything out after using JB3; is it a similar process for PROcede? Do I need to buy a scanner? It seems like I read something that somehow it was included with the PROcede?

Thanks!

I used to be more on the fence...but now I'm thoroughly convinced that when all the basic mods (DP, FMIC, DCI, BOV/DV's, and Meth) pushing 400hp, the Procede is really the best way to go. I had the JB3 for a year and have been more than happy...but I just ordered the PROcede... I'm sure I'll be having a similar review when it comes...

Again, thanks for putting the time into making this review.

The Procede has built-in and automatic code clearing feature for all tuner codes. But if you want to read codes (and not just clear them), you will need to hook up a laptop. Unlike the jb3, there is no need for a separate diagnostic tool/scanner (Bavtech). It's all integrated into one simple package. Same with o2 sim and speed delimiter.

BrianMN-- Nice to have you on board!

all similar story, I ran a JB3 since 1.22, progressed to 1.3, 1.4, 2.0, etc etc. All good I was perfectly happy with the JB3 except for one major issue which I'd rather not get into.
