Its just weird that my launches were different along with my trap speeds. I guess I'll have to go back 2morrow and see what the deal is..

You shouldn't change anything on the N55 intake/exhaust without tuning...it just loses power due to the way the air sensors work.

There are no sensors around the exhaust so i don't believe that had anything to do with it...

I've heard the same thing regarding the N55. Don't do anything unless a tune is involved.

could be related to track conditions; different day different weather etc.. but I agree with all that less backpressure is a huge plus for a turbo'd car.. the record holding 135 that ran low 11's at almost 130mph had electric cutouts installed right after the dp's...

That sucks... Shiv better hurry up with the N55 harness, I want to slap the procede in as soon as I get my X5... GUess those with the JB3 are in better shape though... But One more way for BMW to make it harder for those with N55's to tune/mod...

funny you mention that. I noticed today that 1st gear no longer hits redline. Even after launch and in "manual mode" the car will shift itself around 6400/6500rpms and I hear the turbo whinning a bit.

Heading out to the race track 2morrow to see. It does feel a little more powerful in the lower rpms. I loved the sound but I love going faster even more.

I'll keep that in mind. Just did a little drive and the car seems to have a little more ump to it... Back to 1500k launches. 1600 and the wheels were spinning...

Ran the same 13.9x @ about 98/99mph.
What I did notice tonight is that the car was running extremely hot. Never had the car read 250 degrees. Hell not even when I was pushing it in the desert. Got me a little worried....
