I think the scoops are beneficial at highway speeds, also I have logged and noticed no increase in coolant temps. I have also made my own scoops and they are a little bit smalller than other ones i have seen but there a great combo to my AFE DCI.

and in the winter ppl worry about the water getting in and thats why i went with the cyba scoops too so I won't have to worry about water getting in. So I have some sense of year around less worry in regards to getting scoops.

Btw at highway speeds on windy days I can feel that air getting forced up into the engine bay big time. you can definitely feel a difference let alone hear the difference depending on how windy it is. I have run these scoops ever since I got them which has easily been over 7-8months now with no issues.
