Try inserting the bulb the other way. Remove the bulb, twist it with your thumb and finger 180 degrees and insert it back in the holder.

When I did mine, I had a few I put in backwards and they didn't light up.

Alright, you didn't ask about specifics for the pics.

FYI, I'm going to upgrade my AE rings on my depos to either Umnitza predators or the ones that are sold on ebay that have 60 LEDs per ring.

The 4 AE bulbs are not that great IMO. Uniniform, and in the day, the are spotty, similar to new Range Rover AEs if you've seen them. I want my AEs to look like the new 335iS AEs.

DDub... Are you using DDM error cancelers for your HID? I got a pair and they didnt work . I need to find some that work for my car...

Anyways how did you install the bulbs in the low beam section? theres very little space....

Also please take some night and day pics with just the ae's on please

I'm using the cancelers only to stop the flickering. I suppose I could code it out and remove the cancelers. I'll consider that. I didn't have any errors when I hooked up the headlights with HIDs directly to the OEM harness. I have an 04/07 build which tolerates the HID lights much better.

I used needle nose pliers and a long flathead screwdriver to get those in. It wasn't easy.

I'll snap some pics tonight and update my album.

The 55 bucks spent isn't worth it. During the day you see the 4 points and the rings art lit up until it gets a little darker out.

My ae's look nothing like the first pic posted.

Pretty disappointed
Yeah, that's my biggest gripe about the Depo AEs and that's why I mentioned I'm going to get Umnitza or the LED AE replacement rings from ebay.

Funny, I like those warm white LEDs, I think those look great! I actually should have gotten warm white since I did my corner deletes, I want some sort of yellow/amberish running lamps.

I also like the contrast that the 3400K AEs bring to 4500K HIDs.

DDub, you move along with your AE plans yet? Considering same process myself. I like these lights, but the AEs are crap.

Not yet, but there are some other threads where others have bought the BavX depos with UHP LED AEs. I'll do mine in a month or so. I talked to Umnitza and I'm going with ebay ones since they are direct snap-in replacements. However, Matt at Umnitza has informed me of a new AE coming out in Jul and from what he told me, it's making me consider holding out for those.
