hold on before you go around telling your side of the story the way you like it and that "i made you wait in a dark alley and asked to raise the price"??!... why dont you tell them why i raised the price???...

I didn't want to meet him at night at all i wanted to meet him in the day so i could check his computer too and make sure it was ok.. he insisted to meet me at night because he works all day. the original deal was to trade the laptop and hed give me $250. The reason i increased the price was because the laptop wasn't the model you claimed it to be it was a lower and older model. When i told him i cant do it less then $600 i told him "im sorry for making you drive out ehre but i just cant trade it for this one with this low of a price id just be loosing to much money" did i not????? and you insisted you wanted it and offered to pay..

Then he calls me and asks me about the cap.. i told him idk much about the comp its been sitting in my house at home while im away in school..i told him it should be in the box cuz the computer was barely used.. he couldnt find it so i order one through alienware and have it shipped to my house. Then he calls me again the next day and says "the laptop is not for me" and trys to exchange it back... i told him look i already sold off your macbook because i wasnt in the market for a macbook anyway but figured there easier to sell so i got the cash for a different laptop. i cnat help you out.

Im not trying to fuck anyone over or scam you... i didnt want to meet u at 11 at night but you insisted. there was no crack on the keyboard when i gave it to you or when you looked at it.. You just dont like the laptop and want yours back and are bitter about it. i told you ill send the cap when it comes and you said ok thats fine... Silver coupe i completely sympathize with your situation. I know the general unpleasant feeling of having to deal with something like this and it is a very unfortunate situation. This is a classic textbook case of buyer beware! I know how exciting it is to get something new especially something as nice as a laptop however it is your responsibility as the consumer to check the computer. I know you said it was in a dark alley but that is no excuse. Buying something off of someone especially like this through a trade is always risky and anyone should fully inspect the item because in most instances it is a final sale.


However i saw someone post that you should put his information down on the forum. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD YOU DO THIS!!!!!! Putting some ones SS# is a very serious Federal Crime with a very strict mandatory minimum sentence due to all the internet identity theft that goes on today.
By stating in this forum that you know his personal information puts you at a risk because if anything ever happened to his identity or property damage you would be a prime suspect. Even putting his address down can have serious consequences because you are releasing private information that the person did not give permission to release. Silver coupe i highly recommend you delete this forum because even by releasing his full legal name can be seen as Defamation of Character. I understand that you are trying to warn people about dealing with shepa, but this is not the way to go. I'm sure this thread has rating were you can rate him as a poor seller or try and get him banned from the site. But by putting his full name anyone can type it into Google and this will come up. If at one point he doesn't receive a job because of this or something else he can press charges on the grounds of Defamation of Character libel (which is basically written derogatory statements which pose as false or damaging allegations of character. I have seen a case were the plaintiff won suing the defendant for calling him gay, and it was seen as a damaging allegation

Here is my personal advice on this matter and i hope both of you as well as anyone else follow it. Shepa and silvercoupe i recommend you both talk this out and try to negotiate some agreement that would satisfy both of you! Shepa while you have no legal requirement to come to some sort of agreement you should consider this, while there is nothing you did wrong legally think about your actions morally and understand that this could happen to you one day and there won't be anything you can do about it. silvercoupe I am sorry about your situation but i highly urge you to delete your threads stating his legal name or any derogatory language or stating that you know his personal information. Please try to settle this and end it on a somewhat good note between you to.
