Great numbers...

Can anyone give me a realistic idea of just how much each mod to achieve that type of power costs?

Im looking into a CPO 335 and would have aspirations of quickly achieving similar numbers...

Actual pricing to obtain them would be greatly appreciated...

Also...To anyone that has these mods...Do you have the car serviced at the dealer or do you take it elsewhere to avoid being detected for (fmic, dp, exhaust, and tune)?

Thanks

I may be wrong but isn't this a new record especially without methanol.

You should have input your settings before the drive to the dyno and then done your power run first thing so auto tune could have adapted better. I think you would have seen your HP go up even higher and torque would have come down just a bit. Great numbers congrats.

I'll give a rough shot at the prices:

$945 PROCede V4 with 7-14 Maps
$800 - $1000 AMS Intercooler
$200 - $300 VK Downpipes
$1200+ AMS Single 3" Exhaust
Not sure... Tial BOV

If this is a new record that'd be REALLY cool

I did have the settings in during the drive to the dyno...and did about 5-6 3rd gear pulls. However, the Autotune was still learning while on the dyno, so I possibly could have squeezed a couple more horsepowers!

Thanks! So for 5k max including installs you can build a beast of a 335? Where the F have I been? Drool....

Have people been making this type of power relatively safely on the stock motor? Thanks guys...

Yep, I haven't heard of anyone blowing up their engines yet--only one with a prototype single turbo kit that wasn't running proper fuel and methanol, and lacking true timing control.

Stay tuned for a downpipes comparison!

I'll be replacing my VK Motorwerks DPs with AR Design DPs Hopefully I'll have similar results as Mr. 5 when he swapped to Macht Schnells.

I am also hoping that since our motors are so sensitive to fuel and just various variables from car to car, this should hopefully increase the stability in the tune and make for less mis-fires/hiccups/etc while tuned. Good Stuff

So the only issues reported have been with someone who replaced the turbo with a prototype?

Anyone simply using bolt ons and tune has run just fine? wow...I'm more and more sold by the second...

Correct, the simple bolt-ons and tunes are pretty bulletproof. There are even hundreds of people running methanol daily (and some on Nitrous) that haven't had any real issues.

I think these cars are very underrated. For the money, you really can't go wrong. I wouldn't be surprised to see many of these cars pushing 500-600hp (without N2O) within the next 2 years.

I'm fully bolted + meth minus exhaust. I wonder how much power I lose by keeping stock exhaust....

Probably not much at all. I don't think people really gain power from exhaust systems. ..its more for the sound go vroom psshhhh.

I know. That would have been sweet. I am tempted by Meth, but need more of a push to actually do it.

The shop is called APS Autoworks in Shakopee, MN. And it was on a dynojet.

Great Numbers Brian! After I get my AE exhaust I'll be doing some dynos ( 91 and 100 oct). So far: V4, helix, stett/dvs, dci, ar cl dps. After that, I'll install meth and repeat these octanes on the dyno. Afterwards, when my RB's get installed, we'll have another comparison with different octanes, meth, boost.

I know I know...

JP- I actually talked to EPL last week, I believe his name was Ryan? He had your car overnight and was about to take it to lunch. He gave me some convincing info regarding the turbo upgrade, and I actually just purchased a stock pair of turbos I'm even more tempted by upgraded turbos than meth...and it's cool to hear that you're running those turbos without methanol! I'm not going for crazy power (Even though these numbers now are insane)...I would just like 400hp/430tq without the engine/turbos having to work too hard.
