So far we have FOUR 335i's at this event. AWESOME! I bet there's never been that many 335i's on the Dragon at once.

Followed a post from bimmerfest to this site and decided to join in on your fun. I'll place this event on my calendar; as long as nothing conflicts between now and then I'd like to join in.
I'm a member of the AtlantaMINIS club as well. We spend a lot of time at The Dragon and consider it home away from home. The route you have chosen is a good one. Deals Gap Store up on The Dragon is under remodeling and I am not sure what stage they are in. The short-order food there is good. For those unschooled about The Dragon go to http://www.dealsgap.com/ I live in Gainesville and could just meet up with you guys when you come thru or I could just drive south to the meeting point. I picked up my 335i Coupe 10-23-06 and have only 2500 miles on it. She could use a little "flexing" at The Dragon Call |

Put me down as a "maybe" - I'll be coming back from Missouri, and last time I said that I was going to hit the Dragon on the way back, I was recalled a week early and had to boogie back....
(won't dwell on the fact that when I got back, I was asked what I was doing there - they actually didn't need me...

As far as meeting up with Ninjaneer and I, no reason to backtrack down to Tampa. We should plan to meet in the parking lot of some place near the highway in Gainsville so that Ninjaneer and I could exit the highway, meet with you right away and then keep on going. Pick a spot. |

I'm going to try to get out of work early that Friday but I'll know for sure when the time comes. bmwexec: did you book at Courtyard hotel already? Fairfield by Marriott (also Suwanee area, right next to it) is $76/night (Courtyard is $84/night) and in my experience is pretty comparable to Courtyard... hotels.com says it lacks the fitness room and pool though, which I doubt we'll have time to use. Funny thing is hotels.com shows Courtyard in a box titled "Indulge Yourself" when I look at Fairfield But we're hardly gonna be there. Anyway let me know so I can reserve a room soon. And don't go off on me for the $16 savings; I'm a simple guy and that's worth some detailing supplies or about 4 cups of Starbucks coffee

Hey guys, I'm here at the TOTD. Actually, I'm at the Comfort Inn ($39.99 a night (double beds), continental breakfast, and wireless high-speed internet). I'm not sure exactly where I am, but we ran the Dragon and it was TOTALLY empty.
Be careful of a cop on 28, he is a douchebag. |

Looks like there is a good chance we'll see several more folks from another board.
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...=1#post8373756 One poster (WytLytnyn) had some good advice: "Given the events of past mountain runs, I say you limit it to about 15 cars split into two groups. Make sure new guys understand that it isn't a race and there's no reward at the end except for the enjoyment of using your Bimmer in the environment that it was designed for......" In other news, there was some snow up around the Dragon today. Not much, though - less than an inch I think. I'm sure it will be long gone by the time we get up there. No worries Ninjaneer - it's all good.

Sounds good rit. And good advice by WytLytnyn.
On another note my classes look tough, but hopefully it all works out and I don't find myself in a jam. I'm determined to make this meet

I hate to be a downer, but if this cold weather continues or returns prior to the 27th, you may be dealing with snow. I live 45-50 mins from the Dragon and this is not the best time of the year to head up there.
