Wow, man if you don't like the topic, don't read them.

Wow, really guys, I'm not arguing for either tuner...competition benefits us ALL as a consumer. But there are just ignorant comments popping up everywhere. ::HINT::HINT:: look at quoted post in grey.

I usually try to stay out of threads like this but damn...this is benefitting no one. lol

I'm out, you guys can argue amongst yourselves now...

Here we go.

I kid.....

I'm not even going to go back 2years and all the nonsense that guy created on this forum when he first was starting with his "resistor tune."

Enjoy your JB...

I only paid 750, brand new, a couple of weeks ago, for the procede. How much are JB3s? And oh yeah, I don't need tobuy a bt or boost gauge.

lol... I've told people to do all sorts of things if I think it will help them. But when it comes to install videos, I always recommend ours as the primary guide. Using the jb3 install video would leave out the very important bit about hooking 12v power. Of course, nothing's wrong with looking at that video as it will give you another perspective to a similar installation.

I don't see much bashing by forum members. Just reviews of both products. Your post could be classified as being "nut hugging" trying to justify why you bought the cheaper tune as well since its almost half the price.

People who never owned both tunes should just

See, like right now, you could be working on that video...haha...

I know, but you posted on another thread the other day that the person could look at JBs video too, because it covers a lot of the same stuff..irony.

I also think you should updatge the insall video and include a strong recommendation to add the usb cable. Going back in to install it was a minor pain. That said, I am blown away by how awesome all the recent add ons have been. I can't wait to see what is next!

BMS' forum is pretty active! You have lots of customers with various previous versions of the JB3 doing the G3 upgrade, heavily modified customers working on optimizing their times/performance by adjusting the load resistors for a higher boost ceiling, nitrous and larger turbo customers choosing to go for richer air/fuel ratios than current piggybacks can offer by adjusting their fueling resistors, customers setting up the JB3 meth integration, and generally everyone helping everyone out.

Many customers are not aware of the various 2.0 versions. 2.0 just added the USB cable for map loading, logging, and updates, eliminating the need to use the burner or go in the ECU box for updates. But there have been over 20 2.0 beta firmware versions released. Some better than others. The latest being 7/4 which is downright awesome. New with 7/4 was a nifty pedal target user adjustable that lets the driver decide how much partial throttle boost they want. Those who like the sprint-booster will LOVE the pedal target = 100 setting.

My average customer orders a JB3 PnP installs it and enjoys. Never changing anything until they get bored some day and decide to do an update. I don't envision that changing much. But its nice to know if they ever do want to do something custom there is a place they can go for quick help.

Calvin,

I wasn't knocking your guys' forum even if its read only. Bms site though it's a discussion forum also doubles as a JB info forum with updates and such as well.

Like I said before, competition, is benefitting us all as consumers so I don't care either way.

I've never said the procede is not a good product. It may have more features than the jb3, but still, the way its owner bashes his competitor is simply disgusting. I don't have to own both tunes to come to this conclusion. Reading a few posts here is enough.

Where do you see the "bashing"?

Even so if someone here who owns or owned a JB3 (same with procede) and wants to vent about it they have every right to on this public forum.

I haven't seen anymore procede members here flat out bash the JB3 with no experience with it more than your average JB3 owner bashing the Procede the same way. What i do see a lot of is how former jb3 owners (like myself) post how they felt about moving from the JB3 over to the Procede and favor it due to X Y Z reasons. If thats what you call "bashing" then so be it.

You really don't need to be "disgusted" with anything. There are far more important things in life to be concerned about. If you are happy with your have, that's great. It's silly to get your feelings hurt about what someone else says about the produce you just happen to have in your car.

Recently, I've been noticing how much simpler and easier the Vishnu products are becoming. When in the past, you used to use its extensive logging and then dial in your features in a number of fields. Today, other than loading the new maps and using autotuning, you're done.

On the other JB3 forum (which I read without having an account there), it seems like there are a lot of board upgrades, resistor swapping, sending in logs and getting custom maps or map settings back. In the past, it seems like you set it and forget it.

It seems like these vendors have traded positions. This is a "just for fun" observation, I really don't know what to make of this.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Junk
I don't know, mine has been pretty simple for me. I have had the same 2.0 chip since it came out and just this weekend I am going to upgrade to the most recent software, not board changing, resitor swapping or anything of that nature.. Seems pretty simple and straight forward to me.. Add race gas.. step on the peddle 5 or 7 times.. its not brain surgery..

I was thinking the samething. Well said.

I love my procede. It has transformed my car into an awesome machine.

Thanks team Vishnu!

honestly. it says a lot about ppl that poor their feelings and emotions on their forum over such a topic.

It is what it is, and what's important is what's relavent. The person who bought it and used it is what's relavent.

Just like there are a few "n00bs" that fall for Terry's claim that this is the Vishnu support forum?
