That sucks. I remember when i went there for pics years ago and the rent a cop was being a prick too.

An ideal spot would be to have a location with some light with either moving traffic near by or the backdrop of NYC at night.

Just pick up my new tripod so i'm itching to take some pics

1.Kings plaza you need a permit or they kik you out, maybe ull pull off a few shots..
2.UA got cop cars there patroling 24/7 now, if you dont go to watch a movie, you get ticket..
3.you want a spot? Ikea 100% trouble free just did another photoshoot there a few days ago,
Next stop, I want to try out home depot by gawanus..

have fun trying to get into the Homedepot...there is more bumps, potholes and cracked asphalt than the Gowanus itself...lolz

Yeah really you can find a ton of really great spots anywhere in Princeton, even an area with boarded up abandoned neglected buildings that provides a great background

I've been to IKEA before for pics....good suggestion. Never tried night shots there.

Home Depot is pretty small and ghetto looking. The upper deck might be ok but like Bobby said the speed bumps and roads going in and at the lot is no joke there.

you have to pay for the garages. Its incredibly cheap...$3 for 6 hours. I have never driven to the top to see what the view is like. Taking pics from the middle would be nice, but the parking there is a little more expensive, and they block it at night.

Site says the middle is 2 bucks for 30 mins, i havent been there in a while so im not sure if it changed, but the indoor lot is nice and probably the newest in the city.

Premium Parking
Convenience Parking is available at the Ellipse Park. Look for the signs and the courteous personnel. Free 15-Minute "Grab and Go" parking is available from 6am to 10pm and parking from 6am to 9am is always FREE in the Ellipse Park!

The premium parking rates in the Ellipse are as follows:
- Grab & Go (up to 15 minutes): $0
- 6am to 9am Ellipse Parking: $0
- Up to 30 minutes: $2.00
- Up to 1 hour: $5.00 ($3.00/additional half an hour)
