niceI had a UUC SSK installed on my car today as well, but did not get the DSSR. Do they really make a difference?

Brake in with this clutch wasn't required (as its ceramic not carbon/kevlar which must be beoken in for 500 miles) at all but I still grannied it for about 300km..went out last night and took the new setup for a wild spin on an empty highway...throttle is definitely way improved as well as mid range power..think I've gained back some power from the past few months as the stock clutch was going out...there's significant chatter if you're upshifting too low in the RPMs (starting out at below ~1800rpm), but that is just driver error

I totally love this clutch and the SM flywheel..especially in a combo with the SSK, car's been totally transformed..money definitely well spent

I wish I could get someone to pick up this clutch..but everyone I know is all automatic

If I still had my 335 this would have went in along with the upgraded turbos

Congrats on the clutch, flywheel and ssk install. Sounds like you are enjoying the grip as much as I am.

Glad you enjoy the SSK so much! It was the same for me when I got the car back after the install. Just amazing. And each time I drive another car in the interim (like right now...) and then go back to mine it's a night and day difference, just as you say.

As the flywheel is now single mass there's definitely chatter but its nowhere as close to what I thought it'd be. At idle its barely noticeable outside the car, its there but not bad at all. Inside the car its noticeable and at times more, at other times less. This chatter should settle down after a good brake in. There's also fairly loud chatter if you're in first or second and you shift into gear where you're reving from below 2000 rpm. This is just plain wrong to do anyway so I gotta stop doing it and learn not to upshift too early at times...
Cool you like the CM clutch as well. Same as you, it's an upgrade I also need to do at the latest when I upgrade the turbos. I'll install the FX300 though (already sitting in my garage).

How is the clutch engagement? Significantly more force needed?

i can't really notice any difference from stock engagement honestly...i'm a pretty heavy guy, 220lbs, so my leg isn't that sensitive to 10-20% differences in clutch engagement...i'd say that if I didn't know someone changed it I wouldn't know...the only thing I did have to get used to is the single mass flywheel...i stalled the car twice when i picked it up not knowing how to get going with it haha that was funny

Did you install both the clutch and flywheel or just the clutch?
