There is no way that car is worth £53000. Most people will know that, although there is one born every minute.

It is, however a good idea for people to be able to see the Performance accessories on an actual car. I would imagine plenty of people would pick and choose which parts they would like.

You wouldn't need to get that many people to opt for the seats and the exhaust to make back the cost of setting the car up. Then sell the car at a premium as a one off.

It's not, actually.

The German car magazine "sport auto" tested an identical 335i with all these mods and were underwhelmed, to put it mildly. Apparently neither the suspension nor the wheels or the slight power increase has any impact on driving performance.

For that amount of money, get a remap and the Birds bespoke suspension bits (LSD included) and you'll have a much, much faster car for a third of the price.

Factory order would make it much more affordable and i'm sure BMW would sell a lot of these parts this way - who is honestly going to spend £15000 on parts that make there 3 series look a bit sportier ?????
Couldn't agree more!

Hi acerboo

The car sure looks good. I have been looking to try those seats, my local BMW dealer told me there isn't any in the country, is this a demo car in Maidstone BMW?

No they aren't (which is why I'm quite happy to have the N54). There are some first results posted in the US forum with the JB3 and the PROcede, and AR design has just developed catless downpipes for the N55, so you can still expect nice gains even though not near as much as with a fully modded N54.

My demo 335i E90 has the seats and the new flat bottomed steering wheel if anyone wants to try - only fitted them last week - totally transform the drive of the car IMHO.
