Think I will try that before uninstalling to check everything, thanks!
I get 23mpg mixed driving. I drive kind of like a grandma and don't floor it but maybe once every few days at best.

The only thing I found that was a PITA was the small space to get the nut on the bolt to hold the can...tight space. Unfortunately, of the entire install, that is the thing you have to remove over and over eventually to empty it.

Maybe I will just get a turkey baster and suck the oil out that eventually fills...easier.

+1, very easy install.

Also +1 on that damn nut being a pita! BTW I'm thinking of getting a syringe to empty out all the oil that gets collected like the rsd can. Don't know if a Turkey baster will fit in that small hole for the dipstick..

It was an easy install, but it takes a while. And yea, im going to get something to siphon out the oil because im not taking that nut off. Maybe something like this http://www.amazon.com/K-Tool-Interna.../dp/B0015DQFMI

ROFL...that stupid mounting nylon nut and J-type bracket had me thinking at any second the nut will be bye-bye in the engine bay with any slip. It's the only thing about the BSH I didn't like...and since it needs to be removed often to empty....is flawed somewhat.

The siphon idea I like too...the turkey baster was a joke, just the visual idea I was portraying...something like that should work fine, probably just needs to be 4-5" long though to reach near the bottom.
