even though XI is a bit harder to do and takes longer(i prefer to drop the subframe down and let it hang while supporting the engine with a stand), my prices are still the same for both cars...$250.

It generally takes 2.5 hours but we only charge 2 hours labor @ $85 an hour. We've had to correct quite a few installs from inexperienced "shops" who end up charging 6 hours labor while butchering the pipes.

If you look at the ticket it shows 3.5hrs and if you look at the Discounts it shows 42.xx

3.5 x 95 (per hour) = 332.50
332.50 - 42 (Discount) = 290.50
290.50 ÷ 95 (hourly rate) = 3.0

You paid for 3hrs not 4

I was quoted $200 which I think is fair. I've been contemplating doing it myself, but I think I might regret it, looks like a PITA. So I think I"ll just get it done.

Old thread, lol. Some of the quotes here are extremely fair. A friend of mine recently got some quotes from local shops and I think the cheapest was around $450-500 with the highest being $875 (downpipes NOT included) :/

Wow! How did it fall? Sorry to hear bout your friend. I left two 3-ton jacks on the 2 front jack spots, and a back up one to catch the car if it did fall in the front center spot... E-brake on And back wheels chocked.
