Okay asshat. First, this is not a new rumor. Second, it is not a new source for the rumor.

Thats what I figured also but Apple has been investing in CDMA chips but not only cause Verizon, there are other markets who will remain using it

But yes eventually the iPhone will be LTE, since both AT&T and Verizon are working on changing over. Verizon promised 30 football cities w/ LTE by the end of the year, while AT&T is saying mid 2011, right around when iPhones come out

I still wont believe a Verizon iPhone, till its comfirmed by Apple. We been hearing these type of rumors since 2007 before the iPhone even came out

Thread resurrection. My uncle and pretty much best friend is the manager or whatever of a big Verizon retail location and told me that they will have the iPhone in January. He was told this by higher ups (as were every other retail manager) and that training classes for it are already underway. I always thought a Verizon iPhone would never happen but he's never lied to me before, so.......

It was on good morning america about 2 weeks ago saying they would have it in january, but that's a little more reassuring. I still won't believe it til I see it.

You have to know this was coming based on the release of the Captivate and Focus. AT&T would never have released those phones if they were still successfully on Jobs' dick. They have neutered or ignored every good Android release up until that, and it was a sign that they wanted to play ball outside of their lifeblood to that point. It was a good move. And, I have to say, the Focus and WP7 have really surprised me. I won't give up my Captivate for it, but it's not your same lame half-assed attempt at a mobile OS that MS has given us in the past. Is it as good as FroYo or current iOS? No, but it's surprising for sure.

Finally, some damn decent phones at AT&T that don't support that fucking asshole Jobs.... Thank you Verizon! Maybe I'll get some of my bandwidth back now too.

Haha. I'd wouldn't expect anything miraculous out of the AT&T network without Jobs and the iPhone threat milking their prostate to constantly expand.
