if done professionally it may look glossy and good. but the purists will be turned off because the whole "ricer" thing

if you like it than i say do it, that really does look storm trooperish. i had a buddy that did red decal overlays on his scion tc and what matters was that he really liked it.

House looks good lol. I'm not OP, but the aluminum trim is very expensive (~$1000 or more) and I heard very susceptible to dings. At least OP's option would be relatively inexpensive and somewhat reversible. `
