if you like it than i say do it, that really does look storm trooperish. i had a buddy that did red decal overlays on his scion tc and what matters was that he really liked it.

Reversible? I have been reproducing BMW parts with the 3M dinoc stuff for 2 years now

My understanding is it is not reversible if the parts are prepped properly. You can change between vinyls back to having them painted but not back to the original sanded part.

For the car ... why not just get the aluminum trim?

House looks good lol. I'm not OP, but the aluminum trim is very expensive (~$1000 or more) and I heard very susceptible to dings. At least OP's option would be relatively inexpensive and somewhat reversible. `
