Had a great drive down to Conwy Wales, she drives great & so much power, a few clear stretches of road & she was upto 130 in a breath.

Had a Nissan GtR pass me & followed it hoping for a clear bit of motorway, but had to turn off before there was any, shame would have loved to see it tear off

The 335D is a sensational car - easily the best I've driven. However for my circumstances it's just too much car. I live in a country where we get fined a lot of money for speeding. It's very easy to lose your license over here.
That's why i drive a 320D and love it. It has to be remapped to be any good. I think of my 320D as having the same bhp (remapped) as a VW golf gti - weighs about the same or slightly less than the golf - rear wheel drive though which I prefer to front wheel drive - more torque (lots more - 411nm!). I'm adding coilovers and a Quaife differential shortly. So I'll be getting even more enjoyment out of a car which I think is perfect for my conditions - and also with city driving I get 5.9l/km - I can drive over 1000km on one tank. So in my opinion my 2 liter diesel beats a standard golf gti.
I just think all the e90 diesel models made by BMW are stunning. Just amazing cars. I'm sure your 335D is a dream car - just be careful not to get caught going too fast.

Nice upgrade of car..............blimey your mate has driven it already.

Star spoke 189 wheels imo, what I had on mine, easy to clean and look good?

N'owt wrong with the twin pipes either, just keep them clean.

You would be wise to keep your 17" wheels and put some winter tyres on them.

Eisenmann generally makes nice sounding exhaust though it has been proven that at least on M5 it made car LESS powerful... so go figure.
Car look great on the new rims but needs a drop to tie it together. 230s are one of my fave rims for E9x, good choice. Reps or OEM?

+1, especially i can't stand them when they are very far apart, not like on M3 but more like what Merc AMG does. Looks weird on BMW.

Purple Monkey,

I drove a 2010 320D and the throttle response at low rpm was dreadful almost dangerous imo, i.e. slowing down to a hazard, engage 2nd gear, press accelerator and nothing happens!

How does the 335d compare pls?

Yo mate.

Get the rear lowered 30mm, alloys are a big improvement but can really tell it's not got the M sport suspension!

That car's done moon miles No reason not to expect it to keep going and going though!
