Retarted prices , those fmic makers are out of their minds, someone needs to agree on the best design and mass produce them in china.

Any of these intercoolers work with Oem-Mtech bumpers without cutting.

Forge, ETS, Helix all fit with no mods. I have OEM mtech and Forge and it was a simple install with no mods.

I don't have a warranty but have been interested in the helix so a gb would be nice. I'm still trying to figure out if the difference in the performance only shows up during endurance?

After months of research and asking highly modded members of e90post I came to the conclusion that HPF is the best all around. HPF is known for TOP quality and big increases in hp and tq. I just ordered my black anodized today. I cant wait for it to come in. dyno proven for 25 hp at 11psi, not too shabby.

ETS has a gb for $650 right now

I chose them because of the competitive pricing and that i would not have to cut.

Yeah I read it a couple times. Nothing that specified what kind of intercooler is ideal for street or track use. I think I got it figured out though and have made up my mind which route to take. All input is appreciated.

if you plan to EVER do a track day, either get the CP-E intercooler/oilcooler combo or plan to get any other intercooler and an extra oil cooler. The oil cooler is much more important for prolonged hard driving. It will be a lot safer. Who cares what peak hp you have if you have to use a weak map to not over heat (personal track experience) I bought the CP-E and have been happy. Check my thread on it.

What brand? VK is the only other intercooler that uses the factory IC connections.

Most dealers hate any kind of aftermarket parts.
