Thanks for the replies guys so do you think it's even worth it to go to them and complain or what? Also any of you guys dealers that'd be willing to hook me up with a new set?

No chance you're getting a new set. Your best shot is a discount based on Road Hazzard (if you have coverage), and even that won't be much based on your treadwear.. I initially thought you had something to scream about, but unless you had recent work on that tire, you got nothing. No dealer, (speaking as a dealer) will give you any more than a road hazard discount if you bought the tires and protection from them.

BTW, his thread is fine, yeah it's marginal but only problem he'd have would be in rain with more aquaplaning. Come on, he can wear this off to slicks and then to cords and THEN it'll blow up.
+1 I do agree 100%

We always need to visually inspect our tires for sidewall bubbles (last year I replaced 3 tires due to sidewall tire bubbles). I sat down with the ladies of the house that drive the family car and explained in detail to watch them there curbs when parking the car

It is obvious that the tires are not wearing evenly and should have been replaced long ago.

In the future, swap your tires earlier and you won't have wheel damage.

Appropriate maintenance pays off in the long run.
O RLY?????? that tire looks perfect to me. no uneven wear, and still plenty of meat left.

Considering that the tires are the ONLY thing connecting your car to the road, any halfway sane person would want to assure that the tires will be able to evacuate water properly.

While the old school of thought was that a tire is done at 2/32nds (and most laws are still written that way,) the new recommendation is that tires should be replaced at 4/32nds.

But hey, it it only your life and the lives of others on the road. It probably makes more sense to buy a useless CAI than it is to swap your tires a bit sooner.

The OP's tires are not nearly close to 'needing' to be replaced.

FWIW, here are my NT05's that I just pulled off...no issues at all, except for rain.
Bragging about driving with bald tires doesa not make you a better person.

Take a look at the inside portion of the tire in the first few pictures. How can that evacuate water?

easily. water makes its way through the tread channels to the sidewall where it is splashed along with dirt and other road debris that fly all over your car.
