anyways just the dci on a stock car wont harm anything...

Won't hurt a thing. I have to call BS on your dyno numbers though. Are you rounding those numbers? I have seen a few stock 335i's on the dyno and none put up those kinds of numbers. Is that newton meters of torque or what?

I just added my BMS DCI's last week and I did notice a sound difference. Not in low end grunt, but I am able to hear the turbo spool more and the dv's when i let off the throttle. The sound is not that loud in the cabin, but I am about to let the wife drive the car so I can hear how loud it is outside. I think it is just enough to make people do a double take; wondering if they just heard a turbo like sound coming from that simple looking bmw.
I will be adding the jb+ really soon so that should make it just a little louder. |

He's probably stating the "DIN" specification that is used in Europe, obviously it's not whp. Torque numbers are in "Nm" with is the European standard as well. Stock it is said to have 306 hp and 400 Nm in Europe, so I guess 320/420 is probably accurate.

Come to my house. I have a homemade dyno we can use. All we need is rope, skateboard, stopwatch, bowling ball and a set of hedge clippers. I'll put it all together, you pay me 300 bucks, and I'll give you a dyno printout that shows 420 pounds of torque on a stock 335i.
