Pressing and holding down the DTC button will not interfere with map switching. It's only when you press the button twice in succession, that you invoke map switching.

In Italy the buttons on steering wheel (for the 135i) are standard -not optional- so it's really good! I don't have cruise control!

I would prefer steering wheel buttons that I do not use -- phone controls. But stereo controls would be OK too.

OT, but I miss old steering wheel buttons for cruise control. Don't like 2nd stalk.

i even dont have that option activated on my car like bluetooth so my phone controls wont work i think, those buttons like + and - also up and down arrows to change chanel stations are okay but i hope SHIV will do the best that fits all EU non EU users
