Just throwing some ideas out there:

- James Craig Rd, Rozelle (aka Sydney's 'superyacht' marina. Cafe open till 3pm)
- KK's Airport (no diff to TLM really)
- Northern Beaches somewhere
- Newington business park (either Fariola St or Avenue of the Americas)
- Fox Studios/Moore Park

How many cars are we looking at anyway... about 6?

Someone confirm that they are bringing an SLR?

Hi guys, the pre-meet location will be at:

Location:
Lumsdaine Drive, Freshwater.
It is the Carpark at McKillop Park Harbord.

You'll see a turnoff to an awesome lookout point with a view of the ocean.

Time:
5-6pm would be a good time to gather.

Freshie is quite a drive, anyone up for a pre-pre meet around North Ryde, say Caltex on Epping Rd, corner of Wicks Rd @ 4:30pm for a 4:45pm departure? Then we could cruise up together

I have no probs with Fox Studios or Airport.

I will be leave the Sydney CBD (yes work on sundays) and prefer to stay on this side as I live down south.

I'm not sure what you mean about airport...we can hang around there? Mascot is quite a long haul for most people here.

That being said, I'm sure the trip to Freshwater will be totally worth it

I guess he means the area along the Brighton le Sands-Ramsgate-Dolls Point waterfront that overlooks the bay and the airport and harbour, is quite scenic for pictures too.

Ideally that is the perfect pre-pre-meet point (lol) for me since I live 15 minutes away, but the location chosen at Freshwater is on the wrong side of town, considering my schedule that evening.

Jeff, sorry man, it's too far away for me (I'll be in Dee Why till 4/5pm, but I then need to be in Castle Hill by 7/8pm) So unless a more neutral location could be sought, I'm out for now.

I may do a drive-by though...

Castle Hill is pretty much where I live so I'D LOVE TO HAVE THE PRE-MEET THERE. However, most people don't even know where it is so I thought the confirmed location would be good for most people here.

Oh and hmmm... I'll check with some mates that live in the Castle Hill area if there are any good spots. IIRC, they tend to meet up in Norwest.

Freshies is an awesome location! It'll be worth the nice drive along some scenic roads
