Yes you shake the phone and you get a screenshot. The app is called *gasp* screenshot.

But if it's really hard to download an app, then I get why it's a problem. I mean, you have to root the phone, but there are one-click root solutions. Also not an issue.

i got the evo last month and am very impressed with it. its still one of the best phones out there. recently got an app to print anything off my phone through wifi. it the shlt.

also thought that the size would bother me but its turned into a plus. the screen a great and the phone is pretty thin so it doesnt bother me in my pocket. its nice to have a big screen and every other phone screen looks so tiny and inferior now.

I have no phone reception inside my home. Sprint sent me a free airave with no monthly charge. Now I have 5 full bars in my home. Att, Verizon, don't get signal inside my home either. Surprisingly on t-mobile was the only company to get signal inside. Dam roof solar panels.

I have the "ShootMe" app for taking screenshots.
All you do is give the phone a shake and it works on non-rooted Evo's.

Thanks all for your input. Loving this phone so far, although the apps aren't quite there like apple yet.
