maybe instead of putting it back to stock just try not flooring it constantly? lol

I really don't floor it much if ever at all. Most of my drives are just only a couple miles and involve a lot of idle and I guess that kills a lot of gas.

I can barely get 15-16mpg if I drive very conservatively.

wow maybe something is wrong w/ your car...

i average 18-20mpg..

Yeah I thought something may be wrong, but after talking to a bunch of people with similar commutes like mine they said its normal to get around 14-15.

100% city, sometimes barely even a mile... multiple times a day.

I get 17-18 with pure city driving, 20-21 or so with mixed, and 26-29 pure highway, with an xi, and I floor it/drive in DS sometimes but not all the time. I think you should be getting slightly better with an i.

wow I commute to work to NYC area Everyday in my 335i 20 miles each way I average 19-21mpg driving morning traffic speeds averaging 28-55 mph . Every once in a while Ill hit 140 on BQE on that straigh run before tillery street 530 - 6am.
