Interesting - thanks. I suppose 45,000 miles isn't too bad but I would have expeceted a longer life than that. How long do OEM cats last these days - probably closer to 100,000 miles in stainless steal and on a stainless steel exhaust system or perhaps even longer, no? How do you know they're bad, i.e. what are the symptoms? Are you getting a bad smell from the exhaust or more noise or rattling? Anyhow - good luck on getting it worked out.

This is with procede (I think it was the 10-09-2009 map), Helix FMIC, Ar catted dp's, dual cone intake, AE Exhaust.

It hit 14.8 Peak psi, with a 15.0 PSI flash for a fraction of a second. 93 octane gas.

This was from December 15, 2009 before I had methanol injection and before I turned the boost up to around 17 PSI. I have not made it back to the dyno for updated numbers.

Nice numbers, thats a well tuned car. The tq is suffering due to the HFC downpipes, if you were catless it would be near 400wtq...right?

Full catless exhaust system here. I have the BMS adjustable O2 Sim. Every so often I will see the following shadow codes:

29F4:
29F4 Catalytic converter conversion
Error will cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Short circuit or signal interruption

Freeze Frame Information
Event 1Odometer 27192kms 16896miles
Engine speed 2,656.00 rpm
air mass calculated 238.74 mg/stk
Engine temperature 95.25 °C
Intake air temperature 14.25 °C

29F5:
29F5 Catalytic converter conversion 2
Error will cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed

Freeze Frame Information
Event 1Odometer 27192kms 16896miles
Engine speed 2,656.00 rpm
air mass calculated 238.74 mg/stk
Engine temperature 95.25 °C
Intake air temperature 14.25 °C

Those DO NOT cause a CEL to be illuminated. I check every 2-3 months with my BT and if I see the codes I simply delete them.

I am fully aware that I can adjust the BMS O2 SIM. I am just too damn lazy to open up the ECU box again. Plus its freaking cold outside. I will probably make an adjustment on the O2 sim in the spring,

Till then, I am not worried a single bit.

Question

Strangely, when the CEL (NOT the engine malfunction error light) illuminated, I didn't get any code with Procede but more rattling noise came from the downpipes (I verified with a stethoscope) at the idle rpm.

I plugged the stethoscope on a friend's car with the same identical UR HFC catted downpipes and no rattling at the idle rpm.

No wastegate rattling either detected (as I verified with the stethoscope).
