get the lci hood mate. It will look much cleaner and you get the bonnet creases too.

I bought mine from these guys
and best mod for under 650 painted and installed. For the money and the looks it offers, I can't complain. Jayes car looks sick from this video with his OEM hood.

Thanks guys. I'm planning to pick the bonnet up on Friday then.

Meanwhile, I swapped the rear bumper over today.

Looking good.

I don't mean to threadjack.

But this is all really confusing for a noob RedNeck.

So LCI bumper will fit Pre-LCI -
1. the only difference being the kidney grills and Hood

Will pre-LCI m/sport aero bumper fit LCI?

1. correct.
2. It will fit to the car, but will catch on the lower section of the bonnet either side of where the grilles go, plus there would be a huge gap above the kidney grilles (see photo in my next post).

UPDATE (again)...

Time to test fit the LCI bonnet to make sure it all fits & lines up ok.
Pic shows the pre lci grilles in place for now, but all fits ok :-)

Next stop, the bodyshop.

The LCI bonnet came back this week and is now on to finish the body kit. Just need some M-Sport wheels to finish.

Does anyone know if the lci bonnet/hood and grill can be fitted to a pre lci msport. I much prefer the lci ridged hood and non mustache grill but don't want to change the bumper if i don't have to.

If only i could have got those le mans blue parts muffking. Would have been a straight swap for me.

LCI grilles will not fit in a pre-LCI bumper. Also the front edge of the LCI hood will not line up properly with the pre-LCI bumper.

The bumper would have gone straight on as it came new in that colour but the bonnet needed painting anywaynas it was scratched. I still have the LCI m sport skirts in that colour though.

DV is right too. You can't fit an LCI bonnet or grille without the LCI bumper asbthey just won't go on.

So if I decide to do it then I'll need to get both parts. Seems strange that it works the other way round (LCI bumper to pre LCI hood) as Muffking demonstrated.

Do you have any plans to do the LCI tailgate Muffking? Could just do the LCI style lights with the red film like a few others. Also looking forward to seeing your exhaust mod

I don't know what the difference with the lci rear is. I'm gonna stick with the m sport rear bumper though. I've got an mot next week and don't want to hack the exhaust apart just yet, but I've a detachable tow bar to fit next weekend if the weather is good and may start the tailpipe while the rear bumper is off. I'll post back with pics when it's done.

I forgot to add, the reason why they won't fit is as the pre LCI grille is smaller. It cable tied into the LCI bumper, but the LCI grille is too big to fit in the pre LCI bumper. The problem with the bonnet is more that it curves lower over the front of the car and would catch the top of a pre LCI bumper.
