Note: It appears the center table of maps on the Calibrations page won't scroll in FireFox. That table is displayed and scrolls correctly in IE.
It's not out yet. I'm just preparing the web pages to support it. After talking with Rob, it sounds like he'll finish testing and be ready for release this evening.

I've tested scrolling in:

IE 8 32-bit & 64-bit
Firefox 3.6.13
Chrome 8.0
Safari 5.0.3

What version of Firefox are you using where it is not scrolling properly?

Thanks!

Gary

There's two scroll bars. Make sure your mouse cursor is in there so it can scroll. Otherwise, you're scrolling outside the browser.

Works fine in 4.0b10 as well.

3.6.12. Looks like I should apply this update and give it another shot. The table shows only one ROM type (no separation between transmissions) so I assumed the staged maps are ready to download with the new firmware.

After I perform the uninstall on the car, I'll upgrade the AP firmware. I assume the updated (combined) maps have to be added back onto the handheld manually, which are retrieved from the calibrations page.

Edit: Nope, not on my FF installation anyhow. The inner scroll bar on the calibrations table seems to be missing on my screen.

Hi Gary,
It looks like the new firmware might have been partially released. The AP Manager is recognizing the update and downloading it. You might want to fix this asap. I just updated my brand new AP and it shows v1.6.3.2-1144 version on top left under the Updates tab. However, there are no release notes for it in the main window and I don't see any maps in my AP anymore. Basically, my AP is in weird state right now. Can you check on this? Is there a way to roll back AP to an older version? Thanks!

sd_335i,

1144 was released a week and a half ago and only includes newly integrated ROMs from that timeframe.

Right now I am not sure why you wouldn't have maps on your AccessPORT. Is your 335i a manual or auto? If manual, you can download the maps off the website. If Auto, I can send you links to the automatic maps. However, if you can wait until this evening, you can download the latest firmware with all of the upreved maps.

Thanks,

Gary

Imperator,

So you are now using FF 3.6.13 and still not seeing the inner scroll bar?

The map links on that page are still v1.01, so they are the old maps. I was reformatting with a new layout to keep all the calibrations on a single page, but if the frame is causing issues, I'll revert to the previous design.

Thanks,

Gary

That's correct. It renders fine on IE6 however, where I can scroll the inner calibrations table down to the last ECU revision. I assumed it's a minor compatibility difference with FF, now that I've upgraded to 3.6.13. I hot-linked a screen cap on my prior reply.

What revision number will the new maps be marked with?

New maps will be v2.00

Hey denial,

Thanks for the kind words and hospitality, I just want to make sure out product is the best it can be. You'll have to let me know what green tea you made and how you made it. Simply fantastic!

Cheers,

6mt guys will like the new maps, hehe

Btw I still have a couple suggestions:
Log both front widebands instead of just one.
Add fuel pressure as a logable parameter

As promised, we have released a firmware update to all BMW AccessPORTs. What’s more, Rob has been working very hard to implement all the ROMs he has received to date and we are able to include this support ahead of schedule! If you are still awaiting confirmation of support for your 335i or 135i, this update will enable AccessPORT support for you ECU.

All AccessPORT maps have been consolidated by ROM type. There is no longer a distinction between automatic and manual maps. This update also fixes the load limit and associated limp mode bug for MSD80 ECUs.

This release is currently in BETA format. To update to this latest release, follow these instructions:

1. Uninstall your AccessPORT. The AccessPORT must be uninstalled before this update can be completed.

2. If you have not already, download AccessPORT Manager 2.0. Windows/MAC. Watch this video for a tutorial on using AccessPORT Manager.

3. Update your AccessPORT to BETA firmware.
  • To update to the latest BETA firmware version select the “Options” menu.
  • Next, select “Check for beta firmware” and then update your AccessPORT. All maps will be automatically updated and loaded onto your AccessPORT.
4. Reinstall your AccessPORT and the update will be complete!

Again, you must first UNINSTALL your AccessPORT completely before updating. The AccessPORT will not update to this new firmware if left in an “installed” state.

Thank you all for your patience especially when waiting for ROM support. If you have any questions, issues or concerns, feel free to contact us here or via PM or call us at 1-866-922-3059.

BETA Firmware Update 1.6.3.2-1275:
  • Please Uninstall the AccessPORT before updating the AccessPORT to this version of firmware.
New Features:
  • Map support consolidation.
    • Combined AT and MT maps to simplify map selection process.
  • Added vehicle support for the following roms:
    • 0044DC0I8A0SWTA1S
    • 0044DC0I8A0SWFP1S
    • 0044DC0I8A0SWFA1S
    • 0044CC0IF80SIFA2S
    • 0044CC0IGD0SIEB5S
    • 0044CC0IGD0SIEB2S
    • 0044CC0IGD0SITA7S
    • 0044CC0IHE0SIEH1S
    • 0044CC0IJC0SITH1S
    • 0044CC0IJE0SIFP1S
    • 0044CC0IJE0SIFP2S
    • 0044CC0IJE0SIFP3S
    • 0044CC0IJE0SIEA1S
    • 0044CC0IJE0SIFA3S
    • 0044CC0IJE0SIEE1S
    • 0044CC0IJE0SIEE2S
Bug Fixes:
  • Added tuning fix for 93 octane MSD80 maps.

Gary,
I updated my AP to 1.6.3.2-1275. The update completed successfully. However, I still don't see any maps in my AP. Are the maps bundled as part of this update?

I was successfully able to flash my car tonight. I noticed that during install it mentioned that the speed is limited to something like 198mph and rev limiter was set to 7200rpm. Is this new for 2.00 maps? Is there any other significant changes besides fixing limp mode with some roms?
