I tinted my headlights in 50 degree weather and it's fine. I used a heat gun that can get up to 700F but I didn't use it much....only when I made a crease in the tint by accident.

I really think a wet install will make your experience alot easier.

BTW, it was my first time tinting. But I have worked with vinyl before.
