I actually preferred the Doritos reviving commercial more. The one with the fish, the dead plant, and the ashes.

Being from the Detroit area, it's always good to see a commercial like that.

However, to be brutally honest, I was extremely disappointed that it was Chrysler, and even more disappointed that it featured the 200, a lame refresh of a lame car (Sebring) which is emblematic of one of the biggest reasons the Big 3 have faced dire straits lately. That car is, and always has been, a giant POS, and should have died out and been replaced long ago.

It makes me angry. Kinda like how they came out with Detroit 187 and the damn series is so shoddily written that it bugs me to no end. Meanwhile, I'm sure the Chicago Code show will be a hit, just showing America once again how Detroit is never going to be able to emerge from its own shitty shadow.

That being said, it was a good commercial. Just a lame ass car, and that ruined it.

A friendly note to American manufacturers (or my fellow American's in general) :

Good ads/ commercial does not sell products. They only help in raising brand profile/ recognition and new product launch. To build brand loyalty, you need to have a product that sells/ proves itself in a competitive market... Everything else you do is just icing on the cake.

I kinda wished the the Detroit + Eminem commercial was for Cadillac, it just doesn't seem like a Chrysler commercial to me.
also enjoyed the Mercedes Benz and Vader kid of course

the bridgestone & coca cola ads are always fun too

the beer commercial-kings were kind of weak this year.
