Im thinking that somebody stole the car, crashed the car, it caught fire, they kinda let it burn a little....then they dumped it.
Or the owner set a strategic fire to do an insurance job, reported it stolen and thats about it. Thats the only reason plates would be on it..... |

this is why i think NYC is a piece of S#@t city....people just look the other way when things go down....someone is out a car, it could have been used in some sort of serious crime, even could have hit and killed someone....and your going to stand next to it and take pictures and not call the cops?.....you're a dbag

Too fucking self absorbed to call the cops and ANONYMOUSLY report a car that has been sitting on your fucking block for 2 weeks. I guess you don't give a shit that your block looks like a fucking ghetto. Ignorance... plain ignorance. Let's keep complaining about how the city doesn't give a shit about the outer boroughs. Yet look at how you treat your own block. Shameful. |

Survive in the city? People survive in the city every god damn day. It's the people that want things the fast and easy way that fear the cops. That's your block. That's your home. And you don't give a shit about a car on fire. I repeat, what does that tell you? I can blow this up into a much bigger issue about community and all that good shit that Al Sharpton likes to scream and yell about. But I am not going to. Because in the end, people like you will be the majority and people who want to better their lives and their neighborhoods will be in the minority. So keep "doing work" and "survivin". While the future of your neighborhood get bleaker. Last edited by NYCGP; 02-08-2011 at 09:36 AM.. |

Dude who told you I live in that area? I live miles away in a nice neighborhood and I could care less about the 'hood where the car is sitting. If people that live there wanted a cleaner neighborhood they'd call the cops themselves.
Plus I'm sure cops already know about the car. Fuck, maybe it's a bait car and they're waiting for some lowlifes that'll try to take the wheels or lights? |

Its hard to belive that it's been sitting their for two weeks and not a single squad car has passed by it? Where in the BX is this thing? I'll report it to the cops if no one else will...

Post it on my350z.com I'm sure someone will recognize it.
It is truly surprising that a car can catch fire in a neighborhood and not one person thought to call the fire department... then once the fire burned itself out, noone called the city to tow that POS away.

I wouldnt be surprised if:
It hasnt been reported stolen, and since it has plates and valid reg maybe they cant tow it. If its legally parked (laughter) and registered then I guess they really "cant" do anything..... Cmon, its a s t r e t c h but Im trying |

I was wondering why the car smelled like smoke... Popped the hood, and the rest was history. Soon as the oxygen got under the hood, she flamed up. Flames were sitting about 15 feet over the car, and the smoke was pouring out 50Ft plus. Quite a site. Wish I had on vid. Of course the battery exploding, glass breaking, and tires popping were other interesting times as well. To this day, I still dont know what happened. I read at the time a few incidence with that particular model doing that. |
