Im thinking that somebody stole the car, crashed the car, it caught fire, they kinda let it burn a little....then they dumped it.

Or the owner set a strategic fire to do an insurance job, reported it stolen and thats about it. Thats the only reason plates would be on it.....

It is truly surprising that a car can catch fire in a neighborhood and not one person thought to call the fire department... then once the fire burned itself out, noone called the city to tow that POS away.

Actually I was driving it when it burnt up.

I was wondering why the car smelled like smoke...

Popped the hood, and the rest was history.

Soon as the oxygen got under the hood, she flamed up.

Flames were sitting about 15 feet over the car, and the smoke was pouring out 50Ft plus.

Quite a site. Wish I had on vid.

Of course the battery exploding, glass breaking, and tires popping were other interesting times as well.

To this day, I still dont know what happened. I read at the time a few incidence with that particular model doing that.
