I'm glad to hear that. It would have been nice if the shop had told you that it takes time.

When a new flash is written, all the engine adaptations are overroded. So it will take a few hundred miles before it is adapted again. I guess this is long term and short term fuel adapations too.

Everytime I drive my flash it feels better and better. I still havent used it in all gears at all loads etc. Plus I have a new tank of high octane fuel now It should get better for you!

Come on now. I am sure you can do better than that... Try overwritten instead...

I have their flash and you can definitely tell its there. And I switched from a JB3 to the flash. If you can't feel the power you might have something wrong with your car, like a boost leak. They have a dyno in their shop, I would schedule a couple runs on it to see if your car is up to par with what it should be.
I dyno'd my car in their shop with a before and after and that is how we determined that I had some bad diverter valves. And with those diverter valves I still pushed an extra 77hp/98tq. I still haven't had time to hop back on the dyno since I installed the forged DV's. But I will get around to it soon. I should see some more power this time around since i was not able to hold boost up top before.

My brother has the gintani tune on his car too. It takes approximately 3 days for the ECU to fully adopt. Also, jeremy (OE tunning, guy that flashes the cars) has many maps for N54 engines, so you could also go back and ask him to flash your car with a higher boost map (if your car can handle it).

Good luck, Gintani guys are pretty chill and will work with you, so just try to explain your situation
