Your really gonna take a man word for your cars safety? A man who was banned off of this forum and that falsely advertises his product of being able to control timing when it clearly cannot. On this forum page, theres a thread called buil your own terry tuner.... Read it! Thats terrys old acvount and he says how he could build a terry tuner(now days called a jb+) for 2 dollars worth of materials....
These people are trying to make money, the only tuner who I respect is Shiv since he knew before anyone who to make a boost controler(jb+, sstt...) but didnt because he is a TUNER and these things arent a tune...

that thread was from 4 years ago when he was developing the jb+. how is that relavent to now? im sure Shiv had to mess with things to get it right as well? and i specifiacally said i asked terry if i should buy a jb3 for longevity reasons and he said no. so if he's just trying to make money he easily could have told me yes. soo... i dont see your point?

Some day... people on this forum who spew hate towards one tuner or another may end up running their own small business. They they'll look back at their childish behavior on this forum and regret it. Even if you dislike one tune or another, competition is good. Competition lowers cost and speeds introduction of new features and improved products. Stop acting like a jilted ex-girlfriend... you're embarrassing yourself.

Bmw rates the 335i at 5 and a half seconds. The 4.8 was achieved by magazine testers( which js hard to do by the average joe).
With a jb+ you could probably do 4.6-4.7

LOL. Did you ever consider that the JB+ may have a much lower cost to produce and therefore a higher profit margin than the JB3?

Can we transfer production to your factory?

Will send 200.00 bux and you send me 100 JB+ (I'll even take care of the stickers myself) Don't forget to use those OEM BMW TMAP connectors as well.

i just asked in another thread the 0-60 of the jb3 on map 5 and people said 4.6 seconds. and someone in this thread said the jb+ is 4.7 seconds. so the jb3 is only .1 seconds faster to 60?

Hell, you might as well start your own tuning company! You've already got the website with tuning in the name, and a reputation and clientelle....

Sorry I didn't revisit this thread till now.
Yes, my car is an automatic. I believe I was running 75% in the tests. I never ran a bypass.

Thanks
I absolutely haven't had any problems launching in 2nd gear. I think its probably easier on the trans not banging the 1-2 shift constantly in the first place. Its kind of a lazy, easy launch, in 2nd gear...but I get consistant results, perfect for testing.

About the trans...never had any problems except for nitrous...130mph+ trap speeds. All runs afterwards in the 120-124mph range resulted in flawless trans operation. Trans has a fail safe...and was probably targeting 3rd gear when I wanted 4th!

FYI..The diesel is definitely faster 0-60 launching in 2nd gear, stock/tuned.

Not sure why you're looking for an exact answer... "Roughly" is the best you're going to get..
Too many variables can differ between cars and those tunes..
(climate, elevation, temps, mods, engine/drivetrain health, driver experience, Ect)
