I plan on getting another sport package car. So it will have the own oil cooler. Do you think that will be enough? Or do I need to upgrade that?

Yeah, I used JB3 and it worked well. The JB products arent terrible. What is your point? Im glad you "know a lot on these cars" though.
And if you know so much, why did you ask if The "ZF transmission can handle a tune"

"ever had a problem? I know that terry's car is a step 135i and hes running crazy amounts of torque. So my question to you is do you guys think a tune( jb3, procede or jb+) would damage my tansmission?"

Ahhhh thinking about JB products are we?

Yes I did ask, since I researched the transmission and even contacted the company via email to see its limits. And I asked that question since I know that the jb3 is pretty much the hardest tune on our tranny's.
Hopefully you learned from your mistakes with the jb3...lets hope it didnt do to much damage to your car.

Wow, you are very smart. Wait how is it "the hardest tune on our transmissions" lolwut? Its very obvious to me reading what you post that you dont understand much. And I am also pretty sure you dont even know why a JB tune could be bad for your car, you probably just read some posts on another thread. I am sure you didnt really understand them though.

Well it runs high amounts of boost, the power doesnt come on gradually like other tunes instead it comes on all it one shot putting a lot of stress on the transmission.

Ok please explain why not. Im not trying to argue with you, since Ive never tried the cobb. I just want to hear the differences from someone who has owned both of them.

Ive only heard of one guy with transmission failure and thats hotrod. He ran a jb3 (and yes I am aware that he ran a 28 dry shot, however he isnt the only guy out there that did. There are procede users who have used nitrous aswell)

Cobb is smoother, simpler, no codes, no wierd af ratios and has a SHIT ton more potential with ATR.

Power wise, boost for boost, timing for timing, fuel for fuel, all the tunes are the same, however certain ones are smooth and offer more flexability towards your car. And thats why Cobb is better.

Yeah, and he has also pushed his car harder than anyone else I am aware of. One guy has had a transmission failure. I have watched my boost gauge many times, the boost doesnt all come at one time. I dont think you understand how turbos work.

Alright thank you for your opinion
I might consider the ap when they offer it for 2007 models, but even though its considered undetectable, I still have the feeling bmw can see when the car has been flashed idk why I think this but it would make sense that the car registers when it is being flahsed...wtv maybe im just paranoid

Yeah, I had a transmission fluid leak. If you knew some of the common problems you would know this is one. BMW has problems with stock cars sitting on the showroom floor having transmission fluid leaks. It is the mechatronics sealing sleeve.
