Hate to bump an old thread but i PMed the OP and he didn't remember what his solution was.

I clearly remember these symptoms a few years ago. Oil from my OFHG was leaking onto the serpentine belt resulting in the squeal. Had the gasket replaced, along with a serpentine belt kit

So maybe look for oil from the top and/or a loose or shredding belt? As usual with this car, better to take care of failing systems sooner rather than later, as can leave you limp or even worse in this case the belt shreds while driving

That was well over 30,000 miles ago for and no issues from that department since...
