I use it, all I had to do was set up a car profile. I do recall there being fake ELM327 BT modules floating around a while back, does yours work on other cars?

Not sure then, I use the same app and ELM327 adapter. For me to get consistent connections, I either turn ignition on or start the car, then open the app. A few seconds later it's connected and I can start monitoring or reading codes. If I do it the other way around where I open the app first, it sometimes doesn't connect.

I have carly and that works great. I also have the thor adapter which works just fine with all of my other apps. I've tried messing around with the settings but haven't figured it out yet |
