cheapest way to black out window chrome trim?

Out of curiosity, how expensive can actual OEM black glossy strips such as the OP is describing be?

I guess cheaper is cheaper. I'm not arguing that. I'm just curious.

Plasti-dip now has a spray "glossifier." You spray it over the Plasti-dip. I think it overcomes the matte finish of the regular stuff.

I've used it and it still looks cheap and crappy.

Sure it does, as long as it's done right. Looks nearly as good as OEM shadowline.
