Out of curiosity, how expensive can actual OEM black glossy strips such as the OP is describing be?
Here's some vinyl. http://shadowlinetrim.com/shadowlinevinyls.html. I guess cheaper is cheaper. I'm not arguing that. I'm just curious. Is this the right part? http://tomkinsonbmwparts.com/parts/2...iagram=1942475

Sure it does, as long as it's done right. Looks nearly as good as OEM shadowline.
