Id love to get one in my hands. It could be a bad one for all I care. Definitely wouldn't want someones car down waiting on me though. A few minutes I could tell what we can do with the stock housings when it comes to squeezing in bigger wheels. If the hybrid approach doesn't work, the job would turn from "cheap" and "easy" to complex and expensive very quick though.

Plenty of cars, including the SRT4 have the turbos built into the manifold. Port the housing, bigger wheel and you're good to go. Should be easy!

hybrid oem turbo sounds like a great idea, clipped and new impellar wheels and all that goodness........dealer wouldnt even know :0) lol

Ya... The stock SRT turbo maxed out at roughly 300whp. With the port and wheel upgrade, you could rock 420whp all day with stock spool characteristics. Ratios being what they are, 500whp should be relatively attainable.
