did you have to leave out any digits when punching in the VIN... I've been at the port of exit since the 22nd and am hoping to get the hell out of there asap. I put in my VIN in the website but get nothing,,,

Actually, The Toronto left port 2 days before my VIN was recognised. If you are not on the Toronto, in which case your VIN would have been recognised, you will be on either the Atlantic Compass or the Integrity. Either way they will arrive in NYC within a day of each other. Actually the Integrity leaves bremerhaven 3 days later but gets to NYC 1 day earlier. So I would not be hoping to get on the AC. But what is an extra day if you know that it actually is on its way rather than sitting in Germany.

Thanks... Question, would they put my car on a boat and unload it in NYC? Then truck it across the US to Port Hueneme, Ca at the BMW Center?

I hope what you say is the case and that my car ends up on the water soon...

Just FYI, if you've already hit the water, you are on Madame Butterfly, if not, the next two are Cepheus Leader and Maersk Wave. If on CL, that is a NYK ship, so that tracking site won't work.

We've been on the same schedule the whole time.. I guess we'll see which coast get's priority.. East 'vs' West... the wait is brutal and I feel like it's starting all over. 1st we were waiting for production. now its even worse being the cars are done and on their way home...

My car was completed on the 13th, and "released to carrier" on the 14th, at port on the 20th, and not yet on a ship as of today (26th). Didn't make it on the Courage (probably too many cars ahead of mine). But since it is going to Charleston, SC, it'll probably be loaded on to the Integrity. Is a two-week delay between production-complete and export to be expected? Or maybe the time is indicative of a higher production rate or lower rate of export.

I didnt know that I was on a ship until 2-3 days after it actually departed from the port... If your going by 1800# or OC, they are both delayed by a few days or more.. So you might be on a ship and the system just hasnt updated yet..

My dealer just emailed me to say I'll have my car 10 days from "the end of the first week in April". Sounds like April 16th to me! Sounds good to me.
