I paid $1.54 per liter for 94 octane the other day in Vancouver! Damn, my gas bills are around $400 per month now. I think I need to start riding my bike more often.....

On this particular tank it was 75% highway.....it was also quite cold which makes a difference of about 5%. I can normally get about 550kms on the same amount of gas......about 10-10.5l/100kms

Given we have a 61 litre tank putting 60 in is really pushing the concept of "empty". Any issues with HPFP?

ha, yes I know not the brightest idea to wait that long, but I just had zero time to fill up over the weekend. car didn't "appear" to be that upset with me.

An empty tank (17gals, appx 62L) on my mitsubishi galant, filled up with 89 octane would be $82.

So $80 for premium on a 3-series isn't all that bad.

Now maybe I shoulda bought a Civic instead of a 3-series....that's altogether another point.

yeah because you don't pay PST on gas...thanks to McGuinty and his stupid HST, we ontarians now pay 13% tax on gas. X your price by 1.08 and its similar to what we are paying now.....

Filled up a Porsche Cayenne GTS in the Scottish Highlands in 2008. Put in about 90 litres at 1.30 pounds / litre. At the time, the exchange rate was something like 2.25 CAD to the pound, so the fill up was about $260.

heh..there are 100s of threads on this already! this has been heavily debated.

Me personally - I go with petro 91..yes there's ethanol, but our cars are built to handle some ethonol...some people fill up with 91 Esso and report they see no difference...94 Petro and 91 VPower are both ethanol free...people on this board say petro 94 gives more power but the difference is minimal...I really don't care...petro 91 for me and I notice no difference between it and Vpower 91....I do agree Petro 94 does give more power (you hear the vroom vroom) but of course you use more gas....confused yet?
