curious how one would tell the difference between a true performance gain and a 'subtle' throttle remap
not that i'm doubting AA. just wanted some detailed driving impressions vs. pbx |

From everything ive read from every review its worth the 399...regardless if its a true performance gain or even a 'subtle' throttle remap...If it will wake my POS up then ill drop a 4 spot on this tune lol

nope and don't need too, like i said AA is wayyy better I know I shouldn't be one sided and stuff but once you get this tune you'll want to get rid of your bms powerbox.

well I'm sure it's better but most of us want to know how much difference there is since both AA tune and PBX is mainly about changing the throttle response.

I've used both the PBX and now have the AA Tune.
The PBX throttle feels like a slingshot. Revs increase fast initially but depressing the pedal more won't do anything. The AA tune throttle is more linear and stiff. Also, the engine has a nice growl and shifts are smoother.

before and after dynos? Big difference I bet huh? If you don't mind what did they charge you?
My stock 2011 328i put down 185whp on a dynojet. I flashed it with 260HP program for the 3.0si models and changed a few more things. HUGE difference, have to restrap the dyno again to see what difference it made over all. Glad you're happy with your purchase from AA.
