Chances that I make a boat 5/4 or 5/11

Haze, Im in the same position as you. My car was produced on the 4th and arrived at the port in germany on the 5th. I just want this car to get on a dam boat already.. I've seen some cars sit at the port for a couple weeks. I seriously hope mine isnt one of them.. Hopefully our cars are on the same boat!

Yeah Im hoping our cars dont have to sit in port long at all, we should make the same boat though, I would think anyway.

Looks like the TIRRANNA got pushed back a day and is supposed to come into port on the 10th, its currently in Bremen. God I hope we make that ship.

I'm in the same situation as you guys. My car was in port on the 4th but missed Faust. I'm hoping my car gets on Tirranna, I don't think I can wait ANOTHER week to catch a boat. The wait really is TORTURE!!

The Tirranna just left BREMEN, and is on her way to Bremerhaven now, looks like ETA is 1.5hours, I think...

The wait seriously is torture. Mine arrived at the port on Thursday. So its only been there for 4 or 5 days now, but after driving a customers a couple days ago, i want the car so friggin bad now lol.. Is that boat still going to be leaving tomorrow or is it going to be a day delayed since it was a day delayed coming in??

I never even test drove the 335is, The last time I drove a 335i was in 2008 which was my friends. lol...

The boat is still on schedule to leave the 11th, keep in mind Germany is 6hours ahead of us.

Nice!! I never did until a few days ago either lol... Let me just tell you that you will love it!! I wasnt sure what to expect, obviously working at the dealership ive driven plenty of 335's, stick or steptronic.. What a difference.. I drove a customers 6 speed convertible.. I seriously thought he had some work done to the car. He confirmed with me like 5 times that the car was stock lol... It only had 500 miles on it so i believed him and he was a middle aged guy.. the exhaust note inside the car and hearing the turbo's spooling when u hit the gas sounds awesome!! The only downfall and again i only heard it once was when he pulled away, from the outside it has somewhat of a raspy sound, again, i only heard it once and very quickly so i cant be the judge if i like it, but inside the car was amazing.. Ever since i drove the dam car ive been dying to get my car now. Although i got the dct because i wanted something different. My last 4 cars have been stick so i wanted a little change..

Argh... nobody ever told me how brutal the wait for this car would be! I ordered an AW 335d and it finished production on Friday and was being moved to Bremer... but since then, I have no idea where it is.

I doubt I'll get on this boat you guys are talking about, even though I desperately want it to get on! I can't wait to get out of my 04' Toureg and into something that can actually move!

Congrats on your order!! The wait really is the worst part, hopefully it will be over soon for us!

Someone else on here would probably know more than I do and can give you more info, but I see that your location says you are in CA...I think that the boat we are all *hopefully* getting on is headed for the East coast. Not sure but I think that since you are on the West coast, you will probably wind up on a different boat.

You're telling me... I have an 04 V6 and it's been nothing but disaster after disaster. The transmission has horrible issues! I had to get it completely replaced at 36k miles! But other than that, I can't complain about the comfort of the car. It's pretty great. That being said, the fit and finish sometimes leaves something to be desired.

As for the boat, you guys are right. West coast delivery will almost certainly be a different boat. I'm having nightmares of a three month wait!

Oh, and thanks for the congratulations. I was finally able to reward myself with a car I can be really proud of. It'll be my first BMW.

The DCT should be mean, but I had to have stick.

Im hoping when i wake up tomorrow morning that i see the update changed to 195 "in transit" but im not too optimistic since the ship just docked a couple hours ago and they are 6 hours ahead of us..

Thats what Im hoping, If we make it on the ship I don't think we would see an update until thursday

Checked the status of my car, still in 193, produced not shipped.. I will be checking it periodically today, as i see none of the cars that were in 193 moved to 195.. Usually we have about 20-30 cars if not more on the same boat. I do not see any on the Tirranna so i'm guessing its just not updated or the boat hasnt taken off yet.
