Well CRAP! Freakin Google Chrome decides it wants to update ALL other calibration pages but pull the IJEOS page from cache instead even after hitting refresh!!! Had to go and clear all my cache! Thanks for replying so at least I would know someone else got them.

Have you guys done any experiments with octane boosters to the point of making any recommendations about how much we would need to add to generate an acceptable (i.e. true 91 octane) mixture? |

Ahh, wait, I forgot: you are one of the people who live their life 1/4 mile at a time and think BMWs are drag strip sledge hammers... I appreciate your technical knowledge, but I think you should not have negative attitude towards maps that improve overall driveability! P.S.: If you have a chance, go drive a GIAC tuned car.

P.S. you should probably edit your information... I still can't take anyone seriously who claims to drive a 335is sedan |

I just went out and tested the v202 V1 Alternate Throttle map. Throttle response is definitely much, much more linear than before. Isn't as 'jumpy' and 'nervous' feeling. This makes daily driving much more comfortable.
Was watching the boost gauge and was running around 14.8-16(max) PSI. Usually averaged around 15 PSI.

I've said this before: Go to any BMW dealer, plug in my VIN number and see what it comes up on their screen. Then come back here and report your findings. I am not imagining stuff out of my ass you know...

^Not sure if that was his point. BMW's, inherently, are just not drag strip cars.

Because some folks like the throttle response as is and dont need to try new maps if they are happy. That and for some folks throttle reponse is very far down on the list of things we want cobb to be working on. But the squeeky wheel gets the oil.

I say we bitch about 27.3 percent throttle positions next lol. imo screw all this crap, let them finish their stages and release ATR. Then if you don't like something, bitch at yourself for not changing it.

I really don't think they are using time that would have been spent on Stg II on the throttle map. Some other real issues were corrected, including, the speed delimiter, the bad gas in certain states ,etc.

I tried 2.02 v2 and its very smooth, but unless you put your foot to the floor or put it in ds and downshift it just doesn't have the grunt of mid throttle that 201 does. Anyone else notice this? What I mean is like highway passing. I don't want to go WOT, but get on it a bit. Cars an auto btw.

i can be going 65-70 and make the car downshift at @ 35% throttle, the car just up and takes off seemlessly. feels so perfect.....takes less effort on the throttle than my old JB4... |

I just tried 2.02-1 and agree about the sluggishness. I'll give it a full commute tomorrow before trying 2.02-2. 2.01 was a little touchy IMO but I never squeaked about it. Hard to complain about so much power...

Glad I'm not the only one. I put back on v201 and it drives like I expect it. When I have the pedal half way(simulating a highway traffic pass) the boost psi is a bit different. On v201 I'd boost pretty evenly around 5-6lbs whereas on v202 v2 It's barely at 1lb. I'll try v202 v1. Also, i drove on v202 v2 for about 60 miles tonight. Had to run and get my PCM from the tuner for my other car. Lol
