So this is specifically because of nitrous?

Still runs a decent 11.6 at 123mph, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, without nitrous. And still has the fastest E90 post 60-130 time off nitrous. (I didn't ever bother posting my nitrous times since no one else with nitrous has instrumented theirs yet). But yes, to get much better than that, you will need bigger turbos, or nitrous. I'm still not sure how much mph the bigger turbos are getting people. Hopefully someone will get one to the track, or put a Vbox on their car.

Fast indeed! If I understand this correctly, you're car is stock except for running NOS with a higher octane? If not would you mind telling what your supporting mods are.

The diesel is more the every day driver at this moment, especially with the gas prices, and by virtue that it is much more luxuriously appointed with just about every option. FYI: I just suprised the heck out of a loud Evo X last night. We ran a few times. I then rolled down my window and said "its a diesel!" When I make it to the track with the diesel. pretty sure I will own the quickest 335d time too! On the other hand, I would have paid extra not to have a sunroof on the gas 335i! Extra high CG weight that I could do without.

Amazing as always hotrod. Its awesome that you document everything so well, and are one of the few to actually use nitrous.
Do you have a link to your 60-130 with this car? With and without nitrous. |
