Interesting -- mine was previously saying 10-12 days, now he's thinking it'll be more like 6-8. Hope he's right now. =)

Picking mine up in a couple of hours -- it arrived at Sonnen (in Marin) yesterday, they needed a day to prep it. If you're in the Bay Area yours should be almost ready to go.

sweet, thats great news!!
Did you also do European Delivery? I did, and I guess ED cars probably take longer to go through customs. I just hope it'll come this week.

Yeah I'm psyched -- last few weeks of waiting have been brutal. I didn't do ED -- wanted to do it, but in the end was too impatient to get my car home ASAP. Will probably do it for my next one, though...

Anyway -- yes, from what I've read the ED cars take longer to go through processing and customs... If that's true it might explain the delay. What dealership did you buy yours from?

Ed cars do take longer. Mine arrived same say as Fuji but I still don't have my car and I'm in so cal! Expect extra delays maybe an extra week or more.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Hmm, that doesn't to good.
Bartman32 : Did your car sustained any damages during transportation? Could be an indication why it would take so long.

I sure hope they'll get my car here soon. Im getting tired of driving my wifes Ford Focus.

I ordered my car at BMW of Mountain View. It's the second bimmer I bought from those guys. Seems to be a decent group of ppl.

Yes I did have some minor damage but I'm not even sure they are repairing it. My CA tells me he is waiting for 3 ED's from the same ship. I wouldn't think I'm holding them all up. Hopefully it will arrive all fixed and ready to go.

Well, there goes my hope for getting the car this week. Your ship docked the 7th, where the Fuji docked the 12th. If Im to follow your trend, it means at least another week and a half of waiting...bummer.

Btw, so your CA is actually able to tell you where your car is (eg customs, vpc etc)? My CA told me he knows the ship has docked, but that there is no way to find out whats happening until its on the truck.

He told me that it had been released to the trucking company. That was 2 days ago, so we'll see. And as I said I really don't know if it was repaired at the VPC or if it still needs repairs.

Bartman32, Do you already have your car? My car hasn't even reached the VPC yet.
