Yes, I was thinking the same thing earlier today. I normally shift around 6500 rpm, but was curious to see if the event happens when if I short shift earlier like you say.

There issues with timing above 6k rpm fast shifts on manual cars. On pervious software it was basically knock that you can feel, you say you can feel it so thats why its a little concerning. I have done alot of testing on multiple tunes regarding this and if you simply stay south of 6k on the 3-4, it wont happen.

see how timing is smooth and recovers after the shift each and every time. My AFRs look like dog shit but that's been resolved since that log.

Like you all have mentioned I would try a short shift, but also try a slower shift pausing after in gear before WOT again. Since the boost spool is faster during a shift I think the timing versus load is higher than should be and there's knock retard... but this isn't anything new.
I had one injector replaced under warranty, but i don't think they reprogram afterwards... just enter the injector code. my logs look good from 2nd to 3rd, but haven't done any shifts into 4th yet. |

I think the OP is typical knock during the shift reducing his timing... this is common in higher gears.
Maybe the throttle fluctuation has something to do with procede perceived load targets to the DME with the new programing. How could it be traction in 3rd gear tune only. Myst have you tried 100% IC and reduced boost to check timing. |

Hey pal,
2 things: 1) turn down the boost a bit and see what happens to your timing. Start with 1psi. I had the same issue before I cut out my cats and replaced the FMIC. Must be something about the altitude in Edmonton.... 2) If your 94 octane is from Husky, stop filling up there. Hit up shell with 91. I actually got better results on Shell's 91 than Husky's 94. Esso's 91 was a close second. If you need a hand with anything, my cell number is still the same. P.S. hope you're finally enjoying the Procede! Been a long time coming!
