I meant more scared when you have gobs of power say 800WHP and step on it in a straight line going 80 MPH and it comes loose and you need to tame the car to keep it straight. That is probably when things get scary. Traction loss at 80+ isnt fun anymore LOL |

I think most people here dont really know what that number is. We always want more than we can have or achieve.. it was everything I could do in my Speed3 to get 300whp.. not im chasing 400 in my 335.. and will probably buy a 5.0 next year and chase down 500.. so maybe I'm like Jeff the adrenaline junkie..
(Edit) I need a car like Vin Diesel .. something that scares the shit out of me.. which I imagine to be around 600.. which I will most likely never afford... |

I thought just a tune and FMIC was enough until I got my LSD and upgraded suspension. Now my car can handle a lot more power while maintaining balance and control...
Also, PLEASE tell my you guys were joking about getting an LSD on your XI!?!?!

Enough to pop a wheelie! I would like to have 600-700 if a new fueling system and our engines can handle that. I think it's attainable.

If you build a car looking for those numbers you better start for back to front on modifications....If you cant put it to the ground it will do you no good.

I am HOPING that the mods with Shiv's new meth kit will give me around 440rwh and that will be enough with the LSD and rear end work.
Enough is dependant on the car... if you can get the power down without vaporizing your tires in gears 2, 3, 4 - including exiting corners, slight power on oversteer that is controllable with throttle. That would be great. What that number is will prob depend on the tire size and type. If you get more traction, you can get more down, you can put more in. As JDemetry said, once you get the LSD and stabalize the car, you can put more in.

Not much, just enough to run 1/4 mile in 13.0 @ 105 on stock runflat all day long. That's all I need.
I'm not sure the exact number of power to make that happen. 360 whp & 380 ft/lb may be?

Just like Darren said. I want 500/500 (just another 70whp) eventually. More is just useless on the track unless you have an AWD car.
