Either one would be better than the stock intercooler. The 7'' unit will require cutting, whereas the 5'' intercooler will not.

Hey OP, Our intercooler requires no trimming and is a pretty basic install. We have an youtube instructional video to help you visualize the ease of install before purchasing. Please let me know if you need any more info. We have the coolers in stock and ready to ship same day.
Here is the video: (please note the additional step included in the info section) |

If i were going to spring for the big ETS, I would consider that new Helix! I have similar mods as you and wanted a fmic upgrade to reduce my WPM a bit. I wasn't really looking for WHP but now that I have it, it wouldn't hurt to have a little more. If you can afford it, get the big one! I am running 18psi with mine and temps stay at 100f with meth. Timing is perfect! The bigger one would surely give me more WHP with even cooler temps.
There are a couple of big names to consider, STETT,AA, ETS, Helix, Wagner, AMS, ER, HPF, Forge,... I think there is a whole thread that details the characteristics of each one. I started with the xo2-spearco knock off. It was big and needed some trimming but it cooled just as well as my much smaller and more expensive ETS. It really only fits behind the M Tech bumper well. Good luck with your decision.

ETS FMIC's are attractive because they are new and they are the most reasonable in terms of price. Their endtanks aren't the most pretty looking things on the face of the planet.
Honestly, AMS, Spearco, Helix, AA, HPF, ETS, etc., etc. all make pretty solid intercoolers. It really comes down to how much do you want to spend and do you care about front bumper removal/slight modification.
