why would you pay so much money for Shivs meth kit , where it's only a pump, lines, and nozzles I will never get it ??? Just grab a CM or snow kit , or aquamyst if you're at it !

Injen IMO looks like a cheap ass intake that doesn't belong in a BMWs engine bay. It would look great in a Honda.
If the AFE is garbage then I'll just have to keep waiting for something else.

Ya I was almost starting to think the same thing, ya man well like the cuplet that is supposed to connect the intake piece to the throttle body seems to slip off even after the clamps are on (which causes a leak maybe thats why the car wasn't starting) the MAF connection was all fine and stuff everything was connected the right way I think it was a defective piece, honestly man I think I'm just going to stay stock intake.... doesn't seem like any of the intakes out there are adding any power anyway

Plus there shouldn't be that many problems with an intake in my opinion... it just doesn't seem that the AFE fits properly for some reason, I dont know maybe I was the only one who got a defective piece and the 50 or so others are fine but having a "loose" connection on any piece of equipment does not sit well with me... Thought I was purchasing and waiting for a quality product, guess I thought wrong

congrats makarov88.
fmic looks clean. I was just hearing bout the intake problems from IVAN. wish I was there for the install. when you get a chance you should try to redyno with ur FMIC. that should yield some good gains. I'm starting to have a theory with the updated bmw software and intake. Damn MAF sensor... before I jump the gun, I'll be continue'n testing. N55 woes. -if your setup is good - keep it like that. N55 quest for most stable bolt ons continue. -Frankie
