Many cars from the factory sit slightly higher on driver side. Dealing with suspensions the past 6 years i see it all the time. Give it some time to settle and re-measure it.

Fraggy, I don't think anyone disagrees that certain BMW's, or for that matter Honda Civics, Corvette's, to name a few sit higher on the left side (driver's side) than the passenger side or vice versa, so I am not sure anyone is running to the dealer lot to start measuring cars. The reasons and the debate behind the uneven ride height are as old as the day is long.

Actually there are a few people on this thread that disagree.

My friend's car sat higher on one side after he got H&R Race, took it to the shop that did the install and they rotated the springs and now it's even on both sides. My advice is do the same, take it back to the installer and ask them to make sure it's installed 100% perfectly. He drove for thousands of miles with it incorrectly installed because of people (like you can find in this thread) who say it's normal for one side to be higher, there's a difference between the couple-mm difference like you find on a stock car and the 1 or more inches of difference he had.

1 inch is excessive, but the 1/4 to 1/2 inch that most report seems to be normal. Like I said before, go check out new cars right out of the factory and they have the same uneven height. Do we think that the factory put them together wrong?
