I got only a couple, but if I see a car that seems to belong to an "enthusiast" (lightly or heavily modded, is an ///M or 35i model, is a rare/interesting model.. etc) I always try and park close by and maybe catch them to say nice car

Glad i'm not the only weirdo. If i took a pic every time i did this it would be wayy too much

^technically at a car show, and technically he parked next to me, but I would have still taken that spot, they weren't assigned

Mini's are cool, but i would never own own, nor am I compelled to drive one. Bad memories associated with mini's for me.. nothing really to do with the car though.

This was just a shot testing my news lens, but this is a typical day in my lot. Former boss's ISF, my Z4, another professor's M3, and a third Professor with his Ford....um, cubic thing. We trade spaces daily. Everyone takes his turn risking door dings by parking on the outside of the group.

Those are pretty wide parking spots. If they still ding you, they are either really big or they don't give a s#%t about your car.
