The 6-14 maps definitely rock, although I'm having an issue with low end spool up time. I can see in the boost control set point that the boost should be full on in the low 2200 RPMs, however, my car doesn't ramp up boost until 3200-3600RPMs. I know there is always lag, but not that much lag. I'm thinking it may be my wastegate actuator diaphrams not holding enough vacuum in the lower RPM range to keep them closed to spool that kind of boost. Although I have no good way to confirm this.

Can you post or send me your datalogs so I can compare?

Someone did... but it wasn't me. He's referring to me telling him to stop about procede nitrous support.

Up the boost gain to 50. The old v5 maps and v4 maps came with the 50 boost gain.

I know I moved my boost gain from 45 to 47 and it still needs a little extra. So I plan to bring it to 50 next time i go out.

Did you try one of these emails? I just asked and I got it the next day.... you have to email though.

Subject: I would like to try out the 6.x maps - please send
To: shiv@vishnutuning.com

HI Shiv,

As per Robert in the forums: No exact release date for the 6-x maps. But I believe that you know our product enough to try out the 6-x product. Please email shiv@vishnutuning.com for the 6-x maps and he can provide it for you if he feel comfortable enough for people to test.

Thanks

I actually have a boost leak right now so I'll hold off on getting the new maps until I know the car is running well

I have never data logged, and I will check to see when the boost kicks in... It is above 2200 though I am pretty sure.

I am going to do that... I think I saw mine at 45 or so.... that should get the boost running a bit quicker off the mark right Jeff? - maybe in the 2200 range again?

I will have to see what this does to first gear smoothness.... I had one map where it was very tough to drive first gear smoothly cause the boost wasn't able to be modulated on part throttle too well.

i'd be curious to try the 6-14 maps out to see if it addresses the insanely annoying wastegate rattle that the DIC maps seemed to induce for a few of us.

I just got notice from USPS that I have a package awaiting shipment from them, so that means the first round of meth shipments are ready. End of July must be for the second group.

People are asking for meth, nitro, extra stuff for the dash, and the main product is in beta maps since december!!!
I think its time we see some final (dic) maps/firmware for just the procede to work as always (not boost build probs, codes, lags etc) and then after having a base map thats working like the old days (12-17) start building the extras...
I always test beta maps, and then I always go back to 12-17 due to performance...

I completely agree.... I would like to see a full release on 6.X that has the PWM meth without the fueling or any other changes ... with Autotuning, Traction control, and all the features we had in 12-17.

Then they can go off and do whatever they want.... and the noise will drop down for sure. This half assed approach is not going to keep customers happy. It has been way too long.

Been getting a lot of email requests for the 6-14 maps. So I posted them up at the download site (http://www.procedetuning.com/BMW/n54...downloads.html). Enjoy! More stuff coming soon....
